    PJS & Co. CPAs is looking for a professional marketing assistant who can help assist our Marketing & Business Development Manager with a variety of tasks within our marketing department. Tasks will vary to support marketing efforts to increase visibility and communicate more effectively with our target audience. We also produce a bi-weekly podcast, The Cultivating Business Growth Podcast, for which we need help writing show notes (averaging between 800 - 1200 words) and distributing that content.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Daily administrative tasks to ensure functionality and coordination of department's activities
    • Compose and post online content on the company's website and social media accounts in line with brand guidelines
    • Assist in preparing monthly email newsletters
    • Assist in the organization of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success
    • Any other tasks as assigned by management.

    We are looking for professionals with the following qualifications to join our fully remote team:

    • Proven experience with the above responsibilities
    • Ability to research technical accounting topics and collaborate with our team to break these down in a way that is easier to digest for small to medium size business owners
    • Excellent overall writing skills delivered in a professional yet friendly tone. Our goal is to keep a professional tone while remaining approachable and easy to understand for our target business owners.
    • Impeccable spelling and grammar
    • Ability to develop a deep understanding of our client base and what motivates them online
    • Great research, organizational, and learning skills
    • High comprehension of software like Google Docs, Infusionsoft, and WordPress
    • Familiarity with keyword placement and other SEO best practices
    • Exquisite communication and people skills
    • Experience with podcast production and distribution preferred
    • Familiarity with entrepreneurs/small business

    Compensation is dependent on experience ($20/hr - $22hr). To apply, please submit your resume and cover letter.
