    Job Description

    We are seeking an outside sales professional with financial product and fleet industry knowledge   with proven sales success, customer service and customer retention experience.  Our sales team is supported by a highly skilled customer service and value creation / cost savings consulting team of financial and fleet experts. The successful candidate will be based out of the nearest branch and will be disciplined to spend 50% of the time in outside Rental sales activity, including cold-calling and sales account management. Overnight travel may be required. We offer a base salary, bonus and commission program, car allowance, expense reimbursement, excellent benefits package, and paid vacation. This is an excellent opportunity to create customer value with high dollar / business critical assets within the cold supply chain and transportation industry.  

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    ·       Make prospect and customer calls daily, qualify new sales leads/opportunities, and originate rental trailers within your assigned accounts.

    ·       Travel within your sales territory and conduct face-to-face meetings with key customers.

    ·       Possess the discipline to track all sales activities such as: client calls, potential opportunities, and/or customer accounts in CRM.

    ·       Maintain awareness of the competition, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needs and report out in team meetings and log the activities in CRM.

    ·       Maintain and move a well-developed pipeline of quality opportunities through the sales cycle.

    ·       Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers.

    ·       Meet and/or exceed all KPIs and rental origination quotas.

    ·       Possess experience and confidence to present to key decision makers and senior executives at potential customers.

    ·       Possess the ability to work with data sets, fleet reporting and excel modeling. Ability to interpret and explain value opportunities derived from fleet analysis.

    REQUIREMENTS

    ·       Minimum 5 years successful outside sales background - true hunter role

    ·       Experience in Fleet management, fleet maintenance, trailer, refrigeration, or medium/heavy duty truck.

    ·       Financial product knowledge including various lease structures.

    ·       Experience in providing excellent customer service and developing relationships with new customers.

    ·       Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

    ·       Four Year Degree or combination of education and comparable experience

    ·       Ability to work full-time occasional evenings and weekends.

    ·       Ability to drive up to 50% of the time and the ability to travel overnight.

    PREFERRED:

    ·       Previous rental, fleet leasing, or equipment management experience

    ·       Professional sales training

    ·       Minimum 5 year(s) of Profitable Sales/Account Management experience

    ·       Proven technological skills: Microsoft Suite, CRM, etc.
