PLM Integration & Migration Technical Consultant (Full-time, Remote – US Citizen Required)

As a PLM Technical consultant, you will help support and/or lead a breadth of activities to drive the transformation of the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) capabilities for some of the world’s largest and most well-known companies.

Work you’ll do – Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive data integration and migration strategies for various PLM systems (such as 3DEXPERIENCE, Teamcenter, Windchill, Aras Innovator)
• Analyze and transform business requirements into technical solutions
• Analyze and map source data to target data model
• Define and document implementation and data mapping specification documents
• Design, coding, testing, and delivery of high-quality software solutions to meet the business requirements
• Utilize PROSTEP software tools and scripts to automate data integration and migration tasks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, PLM developers, business analysts, and end-users, to gather requirements and ensure successful integrations and migrations
• Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of software solutions in customer environment
• Provide regular updates and reports on project progress, issues, and resolutions to stakeholders and management
• Develop your knowledge of and gain project experience in PLM's newest and future solutions

What qualifications and skills you need to be successful:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related major degree
• Solid understanding of PLM architecture, data models
• Proficiency in Java and Java EE programming language with a minimum of 3 years of experience
• Experience using JIRA and Confluence
• Familiarity with REST webservices, Eclipse IDE, Git, Maven, Apache Tomcat Application Server, Jenkins, Artifactory, XML, XSLT, JSON
• Effectively communicate technical topics
• Strong problem-solving abilities with minimal oversight
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (English

What qualifications and skills will give you an edge:

• Experience in PLM integrations, migrations, customization, implementation in one or more of the leading PLM systems (3DEXPERIENCE, Teamcenter, Windchill, Aras Innovator)
• Experience in ETL processes and tools
• Understanding of CAD integrations with PLM systems
