PM Cook (Dietary) ️
The Oglala Sioux Lakota Nursing Home is seeking a dependable and compassionate PM Cook (Dietary) to prepare and serve nutritious, well-balanced evening meals for our residents. This position plays an essential role in supporting resident health, comfort, and dignity through quality food service in a long-term care environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook dinner meals according to planned menus and prescribed dietary requirements
Follow standardized recipes, proper portion control, and food safety guidelines
Assist with meal preparation for lunch and other upcoming services as needed
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, food prep areas, and storage spaces
️ Comply with all dietary regulations, infection control standards, and safety protocols
Work collaboratively with dietary team members to ensure timely and efficient meal service
Respect resident preferences, cultural considerations, and specialized diets
Qualifications
Previous cooking or food service experience preferred (healthcare or institutional setting a plus)
Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform light to moderate lifting
