Title: Room Attendant Department: Housekeeping Hiring Manager: Housekeeping Manager
Position Objective To support the housekeeping team by maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming and luxurious environment for all guests.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Room & Turndown Service
Refresh guest rooms and bathrooms during turndown service.
Replace used towels, lay out bathrobes and slippers, and provide ice, water, and turndown chocolates.
Adjust lighting and room ambiance to evening standards.
Remove trash and replace glassware.
Guest Support
Respond promptly to guest requests, including delivering rollaway beds, making sofa beds, and fulfilling other basic needs.
Neatly arrange guest toiletries and personal items according to Goodstone standards.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Perform daily cleaning tasks: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, carpet shampooing, window washing, and trash removal.
Deep clean guest rooms and public areas as scheduled or assigned.
Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, hallways, stairwells, pool area, and offices.
Assist in cleaning occupied or vacant rooms independently or with team members.
General Duties
Ensure guest rooms are fully prepared and guest-ready.
Report any maintenance issues or items needing repair or replacement.
Participate in special projects and additional duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience or knowledge, skills
Physically able to push a vacuum cleaner for extended periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (occasionally)
Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during the daily routine, with the ability to stand for prolonged periods
Previous experience cleaning homes or hotels is preferred; training will be provided
Ability to assist customers and guests when needed
Pay attention to detail when cleaning
Organized and able to follow a schedule
Ability to follow verbal directions
Must be able to work a varied schedule, including Mid, PM shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays
