POSITION DESCRIPTION: AN EXPERIENCED PROJECT MANAGER III TO MANAGE HEALTHCARE PROJECTS AT VARIOUS MEDICAL FACILITIES.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • 15 YEARS OF PROGRESSIVE EXPERIENCE IN MANAGING BUILDING PROJECTS THROUGH PLANNING, DESIGN, JURISDICTIONAL APPROVALS, CONSTRUCTION, AND CLOSE-OUT • FLEXIBILITY TO WORK WEEKENDS AND OFF-HOURS
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • WORKING ON PROJECTS WITH MULTIPLE PHASES AND CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS • EXPERIENCE ON PROJECTS WITH MULTIPLE PERMIT PACKAGES AND CONSTRUCTION PHASES • LICENSED AS AN ENGINEER OR ARCHITECT, AND/OR A CERTIFIED CONSTRUCTION MANAGER CERTIFICATE
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE – CONSTRUCTION IN AN OPERATING HOSPITAL • EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH OSHPD • KNOWLEDGE OF PUBLIC CONTRACT CODE • EXPERIENCE WITH USE OF JOB ORDER CONTRACTS • KNOWLEDGE OF CALIFORNIA SEISMIC REQUIREMENTS • KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE WITH HAZARDOUS MATERIAL TESTING AND REMEDIATION • INFECTION AND DUST CONTROL • ABILITY TO MANAGE MULTIPLE PROJECT SIMULTANEOUSLY • KNOWLEDGE OF CEQA
