    Position Overview:
    The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) will provide comprehensive mental health care and therapeutic support to women navigating perinatal challenges, including high-risk pregnancies, postpartum depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders. This role offers flexibility with full-time or part-time options in a supportive, collaborative environment.

    Schedule:

    • Flexible: Full-Time or Part-Time (In-Person or Hybrid)

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments for perinatal patients
    • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans, including prescribing psychotropic medications
    • Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention for patients experiencing acute distress
    • Collaborate with OB/GYNs, MFM specialists, and primary care teams on holistic care plans
    • Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and treatment strategies
    • Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings

    Requirements:

    • Licensed and board-certified PMHNP (PMHNP-BC) in Georgia
    • Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited PMHNP program
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in women’s behavioral health or perinatal psychiatry
    • DEA Certification and BLS Certification required
    • Strong communication and collaborative clinical skills
    • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and perinatal mental health protocols
    • Bilingual candidates (Spanish or other languages) are a plus
