Neuro Wellness Spa is recruiting a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our team (on-site).

Summary of Position:
A nurse practitioner is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with psychiatric disorders while providing high-quality, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to helping individuals achieve mental wellness through medication management, psychoeducation, counseling, and care coordination to other services (TMS, higher levels of care, etc.).
Essential Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality psychiatric care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and medication management
Diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans based on the patient's mental health needs
Offer counseling and psychotherapy services to patients and their families
Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care including therapy, medication management, and social support
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records including treatment plans, progress notes, and medication records
Participate in treatment planning and case conferences
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and stay current with evidence-based practices
Support business development through community outreach, events, and media content
Assist with training new PMHNPs and site staff as appropriate
Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
Master's degree from an accredited nursing program
Minimum of one year post-graduate experience in a behavioral health setting
Experience as a nurse practitioner in mental health and psychiatric care
Valid and current California Nurse Practitioner license with no disciplinary action
Valid DEA registration
Active credentialing with commercial insurance payors
Successful clearance of pre-employment health screening
Valid CPR and First Aid certification
Required Skills and Abilities:
Ability to function independently in most clinical decision-making
Effective communication with physicians and ancillary staff
Proficiency with electronic medical record systems
Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment modalities
Knowledge of psychiatric medications including indications, dosing, and side effects
Empathy and compassion for patients
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Work Environment:
Primarily an office or clinical setting with moderate noise levels
Climate-controlled facility
Exposure to medical-grade disinfectants as part of infection control procedures
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to use computers and office equipment
Visual acuity for reading and screen work
Occasional bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, and carrying up to 15 pounds
Frequent verbal and written communication

This is a full-time, on-site role (not remote). Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Start date needed within 8 weeks.
Experience referring patients to higher levels of care.
Minimum of 6 to 12 months of paid experience beyond preceptorship.
