Job Title: PMO Project Management Resource

Client: Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (PTC)

Location: Dauphin County, PA (Primarily Remote)

Duration: Through 06/30/2026

Position Overview

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced PMO Project Management Resource to manage and coordinate multiple IT projects of varying size and complexity. This role is primarily remote but will require occasional onsite presence at the Commission’s headquarters for meetings as needed.

Engagement Requirements

Candidate must be located within the Continental United States

Must successfully pass ePATCH and ClearChecks National Criminal Background Check

Overtime requires prior approval from the Project Principal

Travel reimbursement must comply with Federal GSA guidelines (receipts required)

No additional travel compensation if candidate resides within a 3-hour commuting distance (rate is inclusive)

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate internal and external resources across multiple IT projects

Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and artifacts using PTC PMO standards

Collaborate with business owners and analysts to define and refine project scope

Manage full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & control, and closure

Conduct lessons-learned sessions and implement improvement recommendations

Maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, vendors, sponsors, and technical teams

Ensure compliance with the PTC PMO Playbook and related methodologies

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of hands-on project management experience

Proven expertise in:

Integration management

Scope, schedule, and cost management

Risk and vendor management

Stakeholder communication

Strong understanding of IT project management lifecycle

Desired / Nice-to-Have Skills

PMP Certification

Experience with ServiceNow (Idea, Project, Demand modules)

Experience managing SAP / Enterprise Business Solutions projects

Knowledge of ITIL / ITSM practices
