Job Description

We are a growing advertising agency in beautiful West Palm Beach and are looking for an EXPERIENCED MEDIA PLANNER/BUYER to join our team.

Our MEDIA BUYERS/PLANNERS formulate media plans and media budget distribution by account, analyze and negotiate with media outlets, and act as the direct liaison between agency and client, as well as sell in new prospects.

The primary media focus is on TV, with secondary media to include Cable, Outdoor, Transit, and Radio, and OTT. Required and preferred skills listed below.

SALARY: $70,000 - COMPENSATION COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Candidates MUST have the following skills including but not limited to:

· Bachelor's degree in related field, preferably Marketing, Communications, Advertising, etc.

· Nielsen ratings/impressions knowledge and experience in media math

· Top-notch negotiation skills

· MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS’ EXPERIENCE IN LOCAL BUYING & PLANNING MEDIA (TV, CABLE, RADIO, OUTDOOR, PRINT)

· Ability to work under fast deadlines

· Ability to multi-task on several projects at once

· Must have excellent written, communication, and presentation skills

· Must be comfortable speaking and presenting to clients

· Knowledge of post-buy analysis

· Ability to maintain positive working relationships with media vendors and clients

· Detail-oriented

· Strong ability to work independently; self-motivated; problem solver

· Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Powerpoint
