DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for performing the everyday activities of the Quality Control Inspection Department. The

Quality Control Inspection Department is the primary component of manufactured finished medical devices acceptance.

Quality Control Inspectors perform 100% inspection on all medical devices manufactured at PMT Corporation. The

Quality Control Inspection Department is also responsible for incoming components, materials, the inspection of raw materials and compliance to all quality system requirements. You will be working within a team environment and individually to complete tasks assigned. 1st (Day) Shift. Monday-Friday.

COMPETANCIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• 100% inspection of all finished goods
• 100% inspection of packaging and labeling
• Receiving incoming shipments of controlled and non-controlled materials
• Inspection of incoming raw materials
• Preparing the sterile run and receiving the sterile run
• Post sterilization inspection of packages
• Receiving and inspection of returned goods
• Reviewing Engineering Change Orders for approval
• Completing MRB’s for reject and non-conformances
• Gathering calibration equipment for calibration, verifying equipment you are using is calibrated
• Other duties as assigned
• Will be working within a team environment and individually

QUALIFICATIONS:

The Quality Control Inspector should have the following qualifications:

• 1-3 years in a manufacturing environment; experience in FDA Quality Management Systems and/or preferably ISO 13485 Quality Management Systems. ISO 9001 is acceptable.
• Ability to read and use gages and measurement tools to perform component and product inspection(s) proficiently.
• Computer skills to log and work with word processing, spreadsheets, and other applications.
• Ability to work as a team, within a team environment.
• Ability to work individually as a self-starter.
