As a Paint Processor , you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Key Responsibilities

• Follows all safety procedures and works to continuously improve safety in the plant and work areas.
• Manages raw materials for product processing and packaging, Conducts inventory checks and communicates information critical to inventory management.
• Performs material movements using an SAP production management and warehouse management system and RF Scan equipment.
• Must be able to read and follow detailed instructions. Must be able to perform math calculations to ensure batch recipe additions are made correctly.
• Performs routine quality inspections to ensure all manufacturing steps are performed in acceptable manner.
• Operates Industrial process equipment involving mechanical and electronic controls.
• Performs material movement using manual and automated processes that involve the transfer of liquid and solid raw materials.
• Operates industrial powered equipment.
• Recordkeeping and data collection to track quality requirements and inventory management accuracy.
• Complete regular inspection of equipment, maintain clean and neat work area and assist others as needed.
• Maintains housekeeping standards and performs cleaning as assigned including dally trash and cardboard duties.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and be able to record progress/procedures/steps as completed.
• Required to physically move finished goods, raw materials and packaging related dunnage as needed.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and 80 pounds on an occasional basis.
• Ability to work in a tear environment and take ownership over area of responsibility.
• Must have ability to understand and carry out instructions issued in written and verbal English.
• Must have ability to complete required safety training.
• Must have interpersonal skills to work in a positive manner in a team atmosphere.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to perform physical work related to raw material handling systems including 55 gallon drums, IBC totes and bags of raw materials that can weigh 55 Ibs.
• Ability to use computers and warehouse management systems (SAP Preferred) to manage, complete and resolve errors as needed.
• Wear protective gear including but not limited to: gloves, safety glasses, and other PPE including respirators as required.
