Maintenance Mechanic, in Louisville, KY

Pay ranges from $28.50/hr to $32.74/hr based on experience!

Schedule: Four 10 hour shift: Work Monday-Thursday. Off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be a critical part of the production team, ensuring that all equipment and machinery are performing at top notch! Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and proof test equipment as necessary to solve problems and pro- actively prevent them.
• Use PLC ladder logic troubleshooting and maintenance of power systems through standard instrumentation.
• Install, test and maintain control devices, pressure-sensing units and flow measuring devices.
• Install, calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and repair Allen Bradley PLCs and install, test and maintain process motor control systems.
• Work from detailed technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
• Use Basic welding and fabrication tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in industrial maintenance mechanic.
• Experience with: Machine control power, Allen Bradley PLC and VFD (variable frequency drive) troubleshooting experience are a plus.
• Need to have experience with utilizing machine manuals and schematic drawings.
• Need to have general knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic valve and cylinder troubleshooting, rebuild and installation experience.
• Need to have basic PC skills including: Microsoft Word and Excel software, Micro Main, SAP, or similar CMMS operating systems.
