  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking a highly motivated and technically adept individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Automation/Process Engineer. In this role, you will work closely with our engineering and production teams to develop and implement automation solutions aimed at optimizing manufacturing processes and improving overall efficiency.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Assist in the design, development, and implementation of automated systems for various manufacturing processes.
    2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand process requirements and identify opportunities for automation.
    3. Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed automation projects.
    4. Participate in the selection, installation, and commissioning of automation equipment and systems.
    5. Develop and maintain documentation including system specifications, operating procedures, and training materials.
    6. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to automation systems in a timely manner.
    7. Support continuous improvement efforts by analyzing process data and identifying areas for optimization.
    8. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all automation activities.
    9. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in automation and process engineering.
    10. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source components and equipment for automation projects.

    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
    2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    3. Familiarity with automation technologies such as PLCs, SCADA systems, robotics, and motion control.
    4. Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in automation, such as ladder logic, structured text, or Python.
    5. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    6. Prior internship or co-op experience in automation or process engineering is a plus.
    7. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and principles is preferred.
    8. Experience with CAD software for designing automation systems is advantageous.
    9. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
