Job Summary:
At our organization, the Director of PR & Marketing serves as a vital bridge between our company and local unions—including carpenters, postal workers, electricians, and others. The core of this role is fostering genuine, long-term relationships with union leaders and their members while supporting union causes. The Director ensures union communities are aware of and have access to our services, such as dental care and sleep apnea treatment. Being a visible and trusted presence at union events, maintaining consistent communication, and serving as a primary point of contact are essential aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Union Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with union leaders and members.
Provide consistent monthly servicing via calls, in-person visits, emails, and texts.
Email Marketing Campaigns:
Collaborate with internal marketing teams to create and manage email campaigns tailored for union members.
Ensure campaign content complies with union approval guidelines.
Goal Achievement:
Establish and meet monthly targets related to campaign approvals and union member engagement.
Track progress and report on key performance metrics.
Data & Reporting:
Use CRM tools (Zoho CRM preferred) to log interactions, analyze data, and generate detailed engagement reports.
Marketing & Public Relations:
Support PR efforts through event planning, community outreach, and promotional campaigns.
Travel & On-site Visits:
Travel to dental office locations and union sites to strengthen partnerships and ensure seamless coordination.
Issue Resolution:
Act as the primary liaison for addressing and resolving concerns between union members and service providers with professionalism and care.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in client relations, union engagement, or a similar role.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficient in CRM platforms (Zoho CRM experience is a plus).
Prior experience working with union members is an advantage.
