    THE POSITION Praxis Computing is currently seeking an information technology professional for the position of Technical Support Representative. We are looking for a professional who is organized, self-motivated, and team-oriented and who thrives on deepening their knowledge in the art and science of information technology. This position presents a unique opportunity to learn through hands-on mentoring by our senior staff and access to technology training.

    Praxis Technical Support Representatives provide onsite and remote help desk support for small to medium sized businesses with Windows and Macintosh environments. Responsibilities include daily application support, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting malfunctioning systems. In the process, our support technicians deepen their understanding of desktop computing, and learn about server and networking technologies under the supervision of senior staff.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    Undergraduate degree in a related field preferred Minimum 3-5 years experience in Information Technology (IT) Customer Service training and experience highly desired

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software
    • Resolve issues for clients via phone, in person, or electronically
    • Recommend hardware and software improvements
    • Track customer issues and resolutions

    • Previous experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields

    COMPENSATION This is a full-time position with some weekend and evening work and a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergency support. We feature a competitive salary and bonus package with attractive benefits including 401K, Medical/Dental/Vision benefits, and paid time off.
