    INDUSTRY: Oil & Gas Services

    LOCATION: Midland, TX

    CONTEXT: Mid-sized, privately-held global provider of oilfield services primarily focused on oil and gas supply evaluation and production optimization.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Lead all Coring and Drilling operations and projects as they relate to relevant national markets
    • Lead all operational and financial reporting results and forecasts, P&L, financial performance and present to the Leadership team.
    • Guide the sales team and provide technical and operational support for market development. Review sales proposals for accuracy and organizational profitability
    • Support all other business units and geo-markets as required in alignment with the Leadership Teams’ directives
    • Quality control and review all pertaining technical materials such as Well Reporting, client presentations, product information, etc.
    • Ensure that team, staff and consultants, as well as third-party product distributors adhere to departmental procedures
    • Actively collaborate with the QHSE Team to promote and enforce safe work practices and organizational QHSE policies
    • Oversee, analyze and review regional financial performance to identify areas for improvement and optimize profitability
    • Play an active role in the development of office, warehouse and field personnel
    • Determine staffing requirements, and interview, hire and train new employees, or oversee those personnel processes
    • Attend relevant conferences and exhibitions
    • Perform routine infield evaluations of coring and drilling operations

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 5+ years of management experience
    • 5+ years of coring/drilling experience
    • Drilling tools experience is highly preferred
    • Proficient in working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint Software
    • Financial planning experience is a MUST!
    • Excellent written, verbal, time management and organization skills
    • Positive, team-oriented attitude
    • Well versed in ISO 9001 Quality Management System
    • Ability to identify national market opportunities
    • Experience with forecasting and managing a P&L
    • General drilling operations knowledge
