LOCATION: Midland, TX

CONTEXT: Our client is seeking an Engineering Tech to provide analytical and management support for the Operations and Engineering departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain spreadsheets and compile data as required
• Assist engineers and managers with formal presentations
• Participate in team meetings and assist with documenting actions
• Conduct LOE and workflow audits and create management reports
• Ensure accurate production data and cost reporting
• Facilitate inter-departmental workflows
• Prepare and maintain scheduling timelines of ongoing projects
• Support engineering and management staff on monitoring operational measures, cost reduction and workflow refinement

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Operations and/or Engineering Technician experience preferred
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of oil and gas software (Spotfire, Wellview) preferred
• Knowledge of oilfield terms and field activities
