CONTEXT: Our client is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee operations of the facilities/maintenance department of an acute healthcare hospital in Kaufman, TX. This position will be responsible for ensuring the alignment of mission, values, and objectives of the organization, as well as serve as the site's Compliance/Safety Officer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, implement, and align operational goals to the strategic direction of the organization.
- Facilitate the mission, vision, and value statements of the facility and the Client.
- Ensure safe and efficient operations in compliance with applicable regulatory and safety guidelines while maintaining an impeccable commitment to excellence.
- Maintain a comfortable physical environment for patient, employees, medical staff and their public, in accordance with policies, procedures, standards and practices set by the Hospital, the Texas Department of Health, the Joint Commission and other local community and governmental agencies.
- Plan, organize, direct, oversee, and control the activities of the Facilities Maintenance Department to ensure services, repair and maintenance necessary to provide the safe and efficient operation of the hospital.
- Effectively perform the leadership, managerial, environment of care/infection control, quality improvement and departmental responsibilities to support the hospital.
- Exemplify and drive a customer centric philosophy that highlights both internal and external relationships.
- Identify customer needs/expectations and strive to exceed them with efficient, safe, and compliant operations.
- Support customer-first initiatives.
- All other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 5+ years in Maintenance Leadership role.
- Ability to undergo and successfully pass a 10-panel drug screen, criminal background check, and accept required healthcare immunizations and vaccines.
- Clean driving record, with no more than 3 moving violations within last 3 years, no DWI/DUI on driving record.
