    LOCATION: West Texas Area

    CONTEXT: Our client, an oil and gas services company, is seeking a Water Treatment Sales Manager to increase sales of their water treatment services, develop new account strategies and maintain/expand the existing business.

    The position will primarily focus on chemical sales for water recycling and biocides on the completions side. There is a full benefits package with no ceiling on the commission plan.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, networking, and announcements to determine the market needed to sell company products.
    • Develop a strong pipeline of new customers through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting.
    • Bring opportunities to a successful conclusion by coordinating the requirements, developing proposals, and negotiating contracts as necessary.
    • Work collectively with various departments on the execution of proposals, contract negotiations, customer sales orders, customer service including but not limited to invoice discrepancies.
    • Create and deliver compelling, customer-centric presentations and demonstrations by connecting features to customer business capabilities and drivers.
    • Research the industry and competition to ensure the company is capitalizing on all potential market opportunities.
    • Demonstrate outstanding customer service to build/maintain relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Identify all challenges of the customer to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.
    • Function as a liaison between customers, operations, and other departments.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High School graduate with a minimum of 3 years of sales experience for oil and gas services.
    • Ability to close deals, work independently and under pressure to meet targets and deadlines.
    • Solid technical understanding of oil and gas chemicals, brines, produced water, production chemistry, and water treatment.
    • Solid contacts and ability to connect with decision makers.
    • Proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Problem solver with the ability to multi-task while using analytical and decision-making skills.
    • Excellent detail-oriented customer service skills.
