INDUSTRY: Commercial Construction
LOCATION: Odessa, TX
CONTEXT: Our client, a commercial and residential construction company, is seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversees the operations of multiple construction sites, from planning to completion. The duties of a construction superintendent will vary, however, they can expect to be responsible for daily scheduling, supervising all activities and tasks, and leading and managing the on-site construction teams. The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for orderliness on site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards, and ensuring availability of equipment and materials on site at all times.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is performed in outside weather conditions.

The employee must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
TRAVEL
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
