    LOCATION: Midland, TX

    CONTEXT: Our client, an oilfield equipment rental company, is actively seeking a Purchasing & Inside Sales Coordinator. The ideal person will be familiar with oil and gas equipment and activities, communicating with clients, and interfacing with operations managers to ensure the accuracy of work orders and services.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Overseeing the purchasing activities for sourcing suppliers and purchasing products, equipment, and services.
    • Coordinating with operations to track equipment and assets in order to determine and manage inventory needs.
    • Communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and answering potential customers’ questions.
    • Keeping up with equipment and service information and updates.
    • Maintaining positive relationships with suppliers.
    • Coordinating with internal teams regarding their supply needs.
    • Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
    • Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
    • Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree is preferred.
    • 3+ years hands on experience in purchasing or related position.
    • Fluent with SAP is desired.
    • Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.
    • Employees will be interacting with employers and vendors daily, so it is imperative they are always able to interact in a professional manner.
