    LOCATION: San Antonio, TX

    CONTEXT: Our client, a global oilfield services company, is looking for a Fluids Manager to expand their business in South Texas for production, completion, and water treatment chemicals.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Cultivate new business opportunities through researching and prospecting.
    • Identify and capitalize on business growth opportunities.
    • Build customer relationships that enhance company position and profitability.
    • Provide onsite services by measuring, testing, and supervising the running of fluid mixing and pumping, including technical analysis and specific product and practical recommendations for controlling fluid properties.
    • Ensure quality, safety, integrity, and profitability are maintained throughout daily operations.
    • Provide technical resources to Business Development team and presentations to customers.
    • Manage customer relationships to ensure expectations are being exceeded.
    • Ensure quality, safety, integrity, and profitability are maintained throughout daily operations.
    • Assist Engineering with product development and testing.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor graduated in faculty related to drilling oil and gas, chemicals or have relevant industry experience.
    • 5+ years of sales experience in production, completion, and water treatment fluids.
    • Experience of working with fluids such as clear brine, calcium chloride, bromine, polymers, lubricants, friction reducers.
    • Experience with product application, solids control, volume accounting/loss circulation, inventory control/dilution reporting, pilot testing, mud lab equipment.
    • Training and experience in measuring, testing, and supervising the running of fluid mixing and pumping, including technical analysis and specific product and practical recommendations for controlling fluid properties.
