INDUSTRY: Oil & Gas Services - Construction/Pipeline

LOCATION: Midland, TX (No rotational schedule)

CONTEXT: The Cost Scheduler will perform a variety of duties to ensure contract compliance, timelines, and cost tracking are met. This position will support the Controller of Projects of all construction projects. This position will interface with the Sales Team, Accounts Payable, and the clients’ Supply Chain and/or Operations departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Directly support the Controller of Projects.
• Responsible for developing project cost schedules, while simultaneously helping to support multiple active pipeline construction projects and varying requirements.
• Support project status reports by designing and updating the project dashboard.
• Responsible for gathering the information required to support the invoicing done by the AR/Billing Manager
• Assist in getting customer approvals on the SOV’s/ invoices.Proactively support Accounts Payable for collections.
• Liaison for the client and the internal accounting department for all communications requiring escalation.
• Recommend changes to cost schedule and project execution to improve timeline and quality of cross functional communications and/or procedures.
• Create, update, and maintain accurate project cost tracking/reporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management required.
• 3 years of cost tracking experience; or 5+ years of direct industry experience in Construction Management, Project Controls, or Cost Engineering Experience.
