    LOCATION:  Austin, TX

    CONTEXT:  Our client, an O&G electric provider, is seeking a Sales Representative to join their team and help increase sales, develop new account strategies and maintain/expand the existing business.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Bring opportunities to a successful conclusion through the use of targeted account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.
    • Work collectively with various departments on the execution of proposals, contract negotiations, customer sales orders, customer service, including but not limited to invoice discrepancies.
    • Create and deliver compelling, customer-centric presentations and demonstrations by connecting features to customer business capabilities and drivers.
    • Communicate regularly with customers to identify challenges and assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • College degree preferred.
    • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
    • Ability to operate independently, manage a territory, develop a sales pipeline, etc.
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
    • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with CRM experience preferred.
    • High level of integrity and commitment to do what is right for the client and the company.
    • Experience in the O&G industry, working with upstream and midstream customers.
    • Sales experience related to the power/electric industry.
