LOCATION: Oklahoma City, OK

CONTEXT: Our client, an oilfield chemical company, is seeking an Account Manager to increase sales, develop new accounts and maintain/expand existing business relationships.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Coordinate chemical sampling, testing, and analysis.
• Complete regular tracking and reporting requirements.
• Manage chemical inventory.
• Develop new business at existing accounts, develop a pipeline and close business with prospective customers.
• Build customer relationships that enhance our position and profitability.
• Responsible for meeting individual personal objectives and revenue goals for assigned territory.
• Oversee the creation of chemical management plans that support client requirements and production issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
• 5+ years of experience in production chemicals.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Successful management of accounts and successful broadening of account base in target markets.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
