Our approach is different than a traditional accounting firm in that we cater to small businesses and provide an affordable monthly service package that bundles accounting, tax and payroll together.We are thrilled to offer a new role opportunity as an HR Business Partner/People Specialist for our corporate team, supporting our offices across the United States. This is opportunity will require someone to have deep expertise in this HR/Talent space and will have great growth potential. As a key member of the Talent & Development Team, you will be instrumental in helping us deliver excellent personal service our internal team members with a commitment to an elevated employee experience. This role will report to our Chief Talent & Development Officer and will have a scope of responsibilities for across our geographic regions. This role is highly visible and requires someone who has a real passion for service, a deep understanding of their craft around HR/Talent and is highly effective with building relationships.What Will You Do? Our newest team member will be responsible for the below, but not limited to:Our newest team member will be responsible for providing on-going HR support to our internal team with the following responsibilities, but not limited to:HR Business Partner/Field Management▪ Participates in the performance management process of managing reviews, feedback and documentation across the organization. Will play key role in integration and implementation of Performance Management process. ▪ Overall point of contact for internal employee questions and issues for resolution.▪ Act as the point of contact with external Professional Employer Organization (PEO) vendor, Insperity on areas of benefits, payroll, leave administration and employee relations. Benefits Administration Support▪ Administers and supports employee benefit programs such as medical, dental, vision, disability, 401k, etc. through the PEO.▪ Assists employees regarding issues and plan changes through the PEO.▪ Supports benefit Open Enrollment communications, processes and time frames.▪ Processes leaves of absence requests and assists employees with navigating options.Talent Management▪ Provides recruitment & selection support by posting job openings, scheduling candidate interviews and processing background and reference checks.▪ Participates in tracking candidates through ATS; role will participate in integration of newly selected ATS.▪ Prepares weekly recruiting activity reports.▪ Facilitates new hire processing with onboarding paperwork, completing Forms I-9 documentation and IT paperwork for set up.▪ Supports the onboarding process for new employee orientation.▪ Lots of other Talent & Development projects (employee engagement, rewards & recognition, etc) are in progress and will offer someone the opportunity to learn more in this area!There is some U.S. travel associated with this role with no more than 10-15% annually (3-4 times per year maximum.)Where Will You Work? Our Accountant role will be a hybrid (in office/remote) role:▪ This role is located in our Englewood, CO office but will operate in a hybrid capacity (remote 3 days/2 days in office following an initial training period). We are open to discussing the best hybrid schedule with the perfect candidate!What Do You Bring to Us? Our key attributes for consideration include:▪ BS degree in Human Resources or related field.▪ Minimum 1-3 years’ experience as an HR Coordinator/Generalist; benefits experience is a huge plus in our consideration of candidates.▪ Experience working directly with employees on answering questions related to HR content areas.▪ Previous experience with working with a Professional Employer Organizer (PEO) is a huge advantage but not essential.▪ Thorough knowledge of HR policies and procedures; ability to independently answer and manage employee questions.▪ Excellent employee relations acumen and remaining calm in tense situations.▪ Ability to multi task, prioritize and handle conflicting demands.▪ Exceptional in organizing own work.▪ Exceptional attention-to-detail with a focus on delivering quality while meeting deadlines at all times.▪ Solid knowledge of all Microsoft applications with emphasis on word processing, Excel, Power Point and Outlook email. ▪ US Work Authorization is required.What Can We Offer?
