    Head of Marketing

    We are seeking a creative and organized Head of Marketing who will help us take our brand into mainstream awareness and launch our first products. The ideal candidate will be an effective collaborator and motivator who can build a brand, communicate our vision, and drive sales. Head of Marketing applicants must have extensive experience in sales and marketing, be competent in managing an omni-channel brand presence, have experience selling through food sales channels, thrive in a dynamic startup environment, and be able to delegate and track multiple ongoing projects and responsibilities simultaneously. Reporting directly to our Chief Operating Officer, this is a high impact role in a fast growing company.

    Duties Include:

    • Lead development and implementation of marketing, advertising, and sales initiatives

    • Develop iconic brand identity and expand brand presence in the market and popular culture.

    • Optimize marketing plan for consumer-side pull dynamics, as well as B2B push dynamics

    • Lead advertising campaigns

    • Build, train, and manage marketing team/resources, including performance reviews

    • Find innovative ways to connect with target audiences

    • Oversee social media platforms

    • Increase brand awareness and reach across multiple platforms

    • Direct analytical data gathering and marketing/consumer test strategies

    • Direct and oversee design needs and content creation

    • Attend conferences, meetings, conventions, in order to stay current on market trends and new research (post COVID, to be clear!)

    • Create and adhere to marketing budgets

    • Present frequent progress reports to executives

    Requirements and Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration or related field

    • MBA preferred

    • 5+ years extensive experience in sales, marketing, advertising and brand management, in a leadership role

    • Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Suite and various marketing software, with ease of adaptation to tech platforms

    • Effective communicator in person, on video and phone, and via text-based forms

    • Exceptional customer service skills

    • Proven dynamic leadership and project management skills

    • Strategic, innovative and creative personality with a strong business acumen

    • A passion for working in and managing a fast-paced, collaborative environment and taking ownership of initiatives

    • Adept multi-tasker with ability to quickly prioritize and effectively delegate tasks

    • Take a data driven approach to marketing and sales
