    Job Description

    PRIM Construction located in Fort Worth, Texas is looking for a full time experienced Financial Controller/Human Resources Specialist to support our growing company. DUTIES AND REQUIRED SKILLS · Strong knowledge in general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management and working bank · Human resource duties including payroll, employee benefits (health insurance and 401K), onboarding, and record keeping · Prepare reports for Workers Compensation and other annual audits · Prepare reports for State and Federal taxes · Contract preparation · Fleet management · Insurance Audits · Sales tax preparation and payment processing · Monthly client billing and end of month procedures · Work with project managers and assist with draws, waivers, and other construction accounting functions · Coordinate executive communications, including taking calls, responding to emails and interfacing with clients and subcontractors · Maintain an organized filing system of paper and electronic documents · Uphold and strict level of confidentiality · Assist CPA firm with financial statement preparation · Assist Project Managers with change order processing · Participate in achieving company initiatives, goals and offer support to owners and co-workers · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Highly autonomous, self-directed, organized and detail oriented · Comfortable working in a construction environment · Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills · Able to interface and communicate with all levels of employees and management · Professional demeanor · Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and critical thinking/problem solving skills · Normal business operations are from Monday through Thursday 8AM to 5PM and Friday from 8AM to 12PM. After hours and overtime are a possibility depending on workload. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE · Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred · Five to ten (5 - 10) years of construction experience · Five to ten (5 - 10) years of management experience · Advance knowledge of QuickBooks · Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, ShareFile) · Knowledge of Procore or Oracle financial management programs · Knowledge of HR practices and benefits administration · Willing to take on additional responsibilities as dictated by company leadership WHAT WE OFFER · Competitive salary · Medical benefits with dental and vision · 401(k) plan · Family-oriented company culture PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing.
