This processor position will work alongside our loan officers and loan assistant and will be communicating with our borrower clients and Real Estate Agents, as well as vendors like underwriters, title companies, and homeowners insurance. This candidate absolutely must know Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA and USDA guidelines, run Desktop Underwriter, stack & submit files to underwriting, request, and clear conditions, while communicating with our clients and vendors in the utmost of professionalism. This position should also know how to analyze credit reports, and income & asset documents, as well as general ways to structure a loan. This is a full-time, in-office, salaried position. Responsibilities: Document the loan process from origination to approval through our system Assure that loan files meet banking and regulatory guidelines and policies Interview prospective loan applicants and assist them in finding the best loan products for their needs Order property and loan documentation such as appraisals, inspections, title searches, site surveys, contracts, and property tax records to help process mortgage loan files Assemble and submit loan packages to the lender underwriters for approval or denial Qualifications: Mortgage lending experience and loan knowledge required, specifically with FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loans At least 2 years of loan processing experience required Accounting, finance, or business Associate’s degree preferred - High school diploma or GED required Strong analytical and time management skills and superior attention to detail Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills • A minimum of 3+ years of loan processing experience is required Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 yearly
