    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Technician to join our team.     Key Responsibilities:

    - Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
    - Monitor patient behavior and report any significant changes to the clinical team.
    - Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, under the direction of licensed professionals.
    - Support and encourage patients in their therapeutic goals and recovery efforts.
    - Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.
    - Document patient progress and activities in electronic health records (EHR) accurately and timely.
    - Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills related to patient care.
    - Implement treatment plans as designed by mental health professionals.
    - Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
    - Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines regarding patient information.

    Qualifications:

    - High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field preferred.
    - Previous experience in a behavioral health setting is highly desirable.
    - Strong understanding of mental health disorders, addictions, and treatment modalities.
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    - Ability to remain calm and composed in crisis situations.
    - Basic knowledge of patient care and safety protocols.
    - Proficient in using computers and electronic health record systems.
    - Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
