    We are seeking dedicated RN contractors with home infusion nursing experience, exceptional IV, customer service, and organizational skills, and a passion for infusion nursing and the well-being of their patients.

    Required Qualifications:

    *Nursing Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing

    *2 years of home infusion experience

    *Must have excellent peripheral IV start skills

    *Central line cath-care experience – with excellent skills (including PICC care and port access)

    *Registered Nurse with valid Connecticut license

    *Experienced in the care of peripheral lines

    *Current valid driver’s license and auto insurance

    *Current valid Basic CPR – by start date

    *Current valid personal professional liability insurance – by start date

    *Up to date vaccinations

    *Willingness to travel within the state of Connecticut

    Preferred Qualifications:

    *Certifications (one or more): CRNI, VA-BC, IGCN

    *Primary nurse case managing experience

    Hours:

    PRN/Per diem RNs are encouraged to sign up through our Coordinators or our Job Scheduler app to request to work as much time as desired. The required minimum schedule availability for this position is 16 hours per month.

    Responsibilities (brief description, not limited to):

    The Home Infusion RN is responsible for the positive and effective representation of home infusion pharmacy services and is responsible for providing quality care for patients requiring intravenous therapy in the home or alternative setting. Home infusion nursing service provided in patient homes and alternative settings, include the administration of intravenous, subcutaneous, and other infusion medications and solutions for patients of home infusion pharmacies.

    Other responsibilities of the Home Infusion RN include: the coordination of patient care activities, maintaining communication with other disciplines such as pharmacists, pharmacy coordinators and nurses, physicians, teaching the patient/family about the patient's care needs and disease prevention (including self-administration when applicable), following and adhering to infection control measures and standards for home IV nursing services.

    The position is for a per diem/PRN contract RN. Work location is on the road.
