About the Role:

1st Response Occupational Health is looking for a skilled PRN EMT or Paramedic to provide on-site medical support at an active construction site in San Antonio, TX. This is a dynamic opportunity to put your emergency medical skills to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where your expertise truly makes a difference. Responsibilities:

Provide emergency and non-emergency medical care to construction site workers

Perform patient assessments, triage, and treatment for injuries and illnesses on-site

Administer first aid, wound care, and basic life support (BLS) as needed

Maintain accurate and thorough patient care reports and medical documentation

Coordinate with local EMS and hospital systems for patient transport when necessary

Conduct site safety monitoring and support occupational health protocols

Maintain and inventory medical equipment and supplies at the job site

Correlate with 1st Response Occupational Providers

Requirements:

Current EMT-Basic or Paramedic certification in the state of Texas

Valid CPR/BLS certification required

Prior occupational health, industrial, or construction site medical experience preferred

Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions in the field

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse workforce populations

Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather and construction site conditions

Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with a PRN (as-needed) schedule
