AleraCare, a provider of infusion treatments and specialty pharmacy services, is seeking an experienced
Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to support patient care delivery in our Bullhead City infusion clinic
location. The RN assumes a pivotal role in managing clinical activities, supporting staff, and ensuring the
safe, compliant, and effective delivery of infusion therapies in the clinic setting. We currently have 30+
ambulatory infusion centers in six western states. Our centers are open Monday – Friday, 8:30am-
5:00pm; however, our Bullhead City location needs a consistent RN presence 1 day per week, 8:30am-
5:00pm. This is a PRN opportunity with a competitive hourly rate.
Position Summary:
The RN is responsible for the comprehensive nursing management of patients receiving infusion and
injection therapies. This includes direct care, assessment, coordination of services, clinical oversight of
support staff, and adherence to state and federal standards within the RN scope of practice.
Responsibilities:
Patient Assessment & Infusion Care
• Conducts comprehensive initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of patients’ clinical
conditions.
• Develops and revise individualized plans of care in collaboration with providers.
• Administers and monitors IV therapies, biologics, and injectables per prescribed orders.
• Identifies and manages adverse reactions, complications, or changes in patient status.
• Performs routine and specialized laboratory tests accurately and efficiently.
• Manages and maintains vascular access devices such as access ports and PICC lines, following
strict protocols to ensure safe and effective uses
• Performs sterile dressing changes on peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC lines) following
established infection control protocols to maintain site integrity and prevent complications.
• Accurately completes and submits superbills, ensuring all relevant patient, procedure, and billing
information is properly documented to facilitate timely insurance reimbursements
Clinical Oversight & Delegation
• Provides clinical guidance and task delegation to LPNs and assistive personnel in alignment with
scope-of-practice regulations.
• Serves as the central clinical resource for day-to-day operations in the clinic.
• Supports a safe and professional environment by upholding nursing standards and promoting
best practices.
Care Coordination & Documentation
• Coordinates with providers, pharmacists, and staff to ensure efficient, patient-centered care.
• Maintains accurate, timely clinical documentation in the EMR system.
• Ensures continuity of care by communicating relevant patient updates to the healthcare team.
• Educates the patient and family regarding healthcare-related needs and provides necessary
teaching materials.
Regulatory Compliance & Quality
• Complies with all nursing practice standards, state licensure rules, and internal policies.
• Promotes infection control, medication safety, and emergency readiness.
• Participates in quality improvement, audits, and staff training initiatives as needed.
• Stays current with continuing education programs.
• Represents organization in a positive and professional manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications :
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in good standing within state of practice.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in infusion, pre-operative or
emergency department care.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Proficiency with IV therapies, vascular access devices, and clinical assessment skills.
• Experience with EMR documentation and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook,
SharePoint, etc.).
• Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations as needed.
