Responsibilities as LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse), but not limited to:

Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of an RN.

Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, mobility, and toileting.

Administer medications (oral, topical, injections) as permitted by state law.

Perform simple wound care, dressing changes, and catheter care.

Monitor vital signs and report significant changes to the RN.

Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).

Responsibilities as RN (Registered Nurse), but not limited to:

Administer medications and IV therapies.

Perform care for tracheostomy, ventilator, and ostomy management.

Provide advanced clinical interventions as prescribed by a physician/instructed by RN.

Monitor and interpret vital signs and lab results.

Ensure adherence to care plans and regulatory compliance.

Conduct patient and family education on disease management and home safety.

Maintain detailed clinical notes and ensure timely submission.

Comply with state, federal, and agency documentation standards.

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practicing Nurse (LPN) in Florida

Private-Duty Care experience is preferred

Strong understanding of home care regulations, documentation standards, and client care planning

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation for field visits

CPR certified (or willing to complete)

TB Test within the last 6 months (or willing to complete)

Level 2 Background Screening (or willing to complete)
