Job Description

PSA position is available to work at anytime including weekends and holidays. Responsibilities include:

1. Provide 24/7 care and support
2. Monitor and assist with daily living activities (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming)
3. Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary requirements
4. Maintain a clean and safe living environment
5. Assist with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals
6. Transport individuals to medical appointments and community activities using own transportation
7. Engage clients in recreational and social activities
8. Document daily observations and report any changes in client's condition
9. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members
10. Respond promptly to emergencies and implement appropriate safety measures
11. Maintain accurate records of care provided and client progress
12. Assist with light housekeeping duties
13. Promote independence and encourage skill development in clients
14. Ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures
15. Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Staff must be computer literate and have a strong commitment to working with the DD population.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver license and love working with the DD population !

Basic Job Requirements Applicants must submit to a criminal background check before a an offer is extended (Employer Paid).

Other basic job requirements are as follows:

• Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check
• Tuberculosis Screening Test Results
• Physical
• CPR/First-Aid
• 1 year experience with developmentally disabled
• . Recent 7 year Motor Vehicle Report copy if hired
• High School Diploma or GED
