💉 Position Overview

BrightStar Care is seeking experienced Registered Nurse's (RN) to provide skilled home infusion services for adult patients receiving IVIG therapy. This PRN position offers flexible scheduling, one-to-one patient care, and the opportunity for ongoing weekly assignments in a home setting.

🕒 Schedule

Approximately 1 visit per week per patient

Visits may last several hours depending on infusion rate

🩺 Responsibilities

Conduct pre-infusion assessments

Establish and maintain peripheral IV access

Administer IVIG via infusion pump per physician orders

Administer ordered pre-medications

Monitor patient during infusion for adverse reactions

Manage infusion equipment and pump settings

Perform IV line care and flushing protocols

Obtain labs as ordered

Provide patient and caregiver education

Document care accurately and promptly

Communicate clinical updates to supervising team

✅ Qualifications

Active Arkansas RN license in good standing

Minimum 1 year RN experience (infusion experience strongly preferred)

Experience with IVIG or biologic infusions preferred

Skilled in peripheral IV insertion

Comfortable working independently in a home setting

Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)

Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills

Reliable transportation
