Job Summary
We are an automatic door company seeking an experienced Service Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and manage all aspects for customer service requests. You will utilize the operational systems and processes of the company, maximizing efficiency and profitability. The ideal candidate has an analytical mind, a deep understanding of business and financial principles, and a proven track record as a Service Manager.
Responsibilities
Oversee all operational aspects of service
Receipt and scheduling of incoming service requests
Generate and submit quotes
Invoicing and closing out calls
Parts orders for service calls
Technician inventory tracking and restock
Keeping customers up to date with status of open calls
Following up with customers
Build and maintain customer and vendor relationships
Create strategic and operational goals and objectives
Implement systems, processes, and procedures to increase efficiency and profitability
Examine financial data and budgets and create reports
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred
Previous experience in customer service and service dispatching
Deep understanding of organizational effectiveness and operations management
Ability to analyze financial data and create reports
Excellent verbal and written communication
Knowledge of sound business practices and financial principles
Knowledge and experience with work order software
Knowledge and experience with Quickbooks
Experience with Excel and other common Microsoft programs
