    Our PRO Pediatrics school-based division supports students from Early Intervention age, up to grade 12 within school districts, charter schools, and intermediate units. PRO Pediatrics is currently seeking Physical Therapists (PT) to provide services at a local charter school year Philadelphia, PA 19136.

    Job Details:

    • Part-time, 2 days per week during normal school day hours

    Job Description:

    • Implement specialized therapy treatment in accordance with the student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
    • Administers physical therapy assessments to determine a student’s level of functioning relative to their age and educational placement in a variety of areas.
    • Analyze and interpret assessment data and facilitate the use of the data as a guide for operative instruction to improve student skills.
    • Collaborates alongside a multidisciplinary team including special education staff, classroom teachers, and other service providers to ensure continuity and consistency in providing comprehensive services to students.
    • Serves as a member of the school’s multidisciplinary team, IEP program team, and offer consultation and collaboration with school staff and parents in support of student’s goals
    • Completes, updates, and maintains required documentation
    • Perform other appropriate duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university
    • Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapy License
    • Must have at least 1 year consecutive experience treating children and/or adolescents in an educational setting
    • Must be comfortable using a computer
    • Must be able to complete clinical documentation to school district standards
    • Current clearances (within 6 months)
