POSITION TYPE

This is a full-time temporary position. However, based on individual performance and company needs, possibility of permanent hire after 90 days.

POSITION OBJECTIVE

Support the production and assembly of architectural lighting products by following documented procedures, ensuring product quality, maintaining a safe and organized workspace, and collaborating effectively with team members.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Production Assembly

· Collaborate with the Production Floor Manager to assemble product orders using hand tools, saws, and drills.

· Review production order documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to complete builds accurately and efficiently.

Facilities & Organization

· Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, including production areas and tool storage.

· Follow housekeeping best practices to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.

Quality & Communication

· Communicate effectively with the Quality Assurance team regarding any product faults or concerns.

· Help train co-workers on assigned tasks and contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

· The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining quality and safety in a production environment.

· Previous experience in the architectural lighting industry is highly valued but not required.

· Soldering experience—including surface preparation, flux application, and controlled heating—is a plus but not mandatory

Location Requirement

· Must be able to report to the Costa Mesa office daily

Physical & Environmental

· Lift, move, and adjust items up to 25 lbs.

· Remain seated or standing for extended periods as tasks require.

· Perform repetitive hand, wrist, and finger motions.

· Work in environments with varying temperatures and occasional noise.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills

· Ability to understand and communicate in English.

· Positive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service

PAY

Based on experience; all skill levels are welcome to apply. Candidates with soldering experience may be eligible for a higher pay rate.
