    Job Description

    WAREHOUSE CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE

    Small local shredding company is seeking a full-time warehouse associate to assist walk in customers with shredding at our local warehouse in Kearny Mesa area. 

    To be considered for this position you must have some specific customer service experience and the ability to regularly lift 30 to 40 pounds.  Please do not apply unless you can meet this requirement. 

    JOB OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

    • Hourly pay based on experience $16 to $17 starting range
    • Full Time – Approximately 35 to 40 hours per week with Saturdays required from 8 am - 2:30 pm
    • Warehouse staff assists a variety of other departments with a wide range of tasks
    • Lots of customer interaction

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • MUST be able to lift 30 to 40 lbs. regularly
    • Must have previous customer service experience
    • MUST have experience with cash register and credit card machine
    • MUST PASS DRUG TEST AND FEDERAL AND STATE BACKGROUND CHECK
    • MUST be a United States Citizen
    • Other duties may include but are not limited to deliveries, pickups, filing, document scanning prep and machine maintenance.

    Duties will include maintaining the sales and service of daily walk-in customers who are dropping off or witnessing document shredding.  Position requires the use of warehouse shredder, a mobile truck shredding unit, loading and unloading of customer material, using cash register and credit card machine to ring up sales, cleaning warehouse, delivering consoles to clients, picking up material from clients, filing or document scanning prep when there are no pressing projects and maintaining the warehouse machines.  Current hours are estimated to be Tuesday through Friday from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm during the week and 8:00 am to 2:30 pm on Saturdays.
