Responsible for performing a broad variety of financial services such as opening and closing accounts, renewing time deposit accounts, and assisting clients with account inquiries, maintenance, and problem resolution. This individual should have basic knowledge of simple deposit and loan products and services. Identifying sales and referral opportunities and striving to meet related goals will be essential in this position. This position will also have the ability to backup the Teller Department when necessary to maintain service levels. Other duties will be assigned as needed or required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum High School diploma or GED Mimimum 1 year Personal Banker experience Basic computer skills-ability to interact with clients using banking technology Organized; ability to manage time effectively and to multi-task The ability to establish credibility and rapport, be friendly and personable and look for ways to benefit the client’s financial relationship. Excellent customer service contact skills: comfortable asking questions/interviewing clients about their financial situation: strong listening skills Understanding how to present features, and benefits of products and services to clients with differing needs. Professional, thorough and organized; able to follow standard operating policies and procedures Self-motivated, assertive, performs well in a competitive sales environment
Monday - Friday: 7 AM - 6 PM Saturday: 9AM - 1 PM Shift times may vary based on banking center needs.
