    Position Summary

    The PRP Program Director is responsible for the overall leadership, compliance, supervision, and operational management of the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program. This position ensures adherence to Maryland COMAR regulations, payer requirements, documentation standards, and agency policies while maintaining high-quality service delivery.

    This is a fully on-site leadership role based in Baltimore, Maryland.

    Key Responsibilities

    Clinical & Regulatory Oversight

    Ensure PRP services comply with Maryland COMAR regulations and BHA standards

    Oversee treatment planning, documentation integrity, and service delivery quality

    Monitor authorizations, billing compliance, and medical necessity standards

    Prepare for audits, site visits, and CARF accreditation processes

    Maintain program performance metrics and service utilization tracking

    Staff Supervision & Leadership

    Supervise PRP counselors and rehabilitation specialists

    Conduct regular clinical supervision and performance evaluations

    Ensure staff training requirements are met

    Lead team meetings and case review sessions

    Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of qualified staff

    Administrative & Operational Management

    Oversee caseload assignments and productivity expectations

    Ensure timely documentation submission and billing reconciliation

    Collaborate with OMHC providers and external referral sources

    Maintain strong communication with families and community partners

    Support program growth and service expansion initiatives

    Qualifications

    Required:

    Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field (Master’s preferred)

    Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in behavioral health

    Experience working in a Maryland PRP program

    Strong knowledge of COMAR 10.63 regulations

    Excellent documentation, organizational, and leadership skills

    Preferred:

    CPRP certification

    Licensed clinician (LCPC, LCSW-C, LGPC, LMSW)

    Experience with CARF standards and audits
