The Nurse Practitioner (NP) Manager will work in the Healthier You Care Center to provide gap primary care, wellness, employee and occupational health services to McLeod employees, family members and local industry employees. The NP will supervise the medical assistant. The NP is expected to use clinical judgment to provide care, conduct health assessments and determine diagnosis and to prescribe pharmacological and non-pharmacological options for treatment. The NP is responsible for clinical oversight of the health center. The NP promotes health and well-being, assists with population health initiatives and works closely with the Healthier You Care Management team to close care gaps, provide coaching to the patient to improve the overall well being of the patient. The NP may assist and provide coverage for occupational related illness and injury prevention programs, and manage acute, chronic and occupational health problems. The NP will assist with Employee Health initiatives such as vaccinations, immunizations and other regulatory requirements. This Health center is open to employees and family members. Work Schedule Generally, Monday- Friday 8am- 5pm

Two or more years relevant work experience in primary care, internal medicine, emergency medicine or occupational medicine. Other disciplines may be considered.
