    CORPORATE PARALEGAL

    The CORPORATE PARALEGAL job responsibilities include: Assist with the management of the MPA Contract Database, including the maintenance, storage, and documentation of MPA contracts and other items. Prepare and maintain spreadsheets and databases for legal files and/or initiatives. Scan documents to maintain the integrity of the MPA electronic file system. Handle information requests to and from MPA personnel related to contractual matters, including physician agreements. Gather, prepare and transmit documents and information to outside legal counsel when appropriate.Perform administrative and clerical duties, such as maintaining MPA legal files, copying and document production and contract follow-up, including payment verification and time reporting matters. Assist with review and approval of locum physicians’ rates and invoices. Drafting of Physician Employment Agreements, Letters of Intent, Letter Agreements, APP Terms of Employment, and other contract-related communication between MPA and staff Physicians.Assist with coordination and ensuring monthly compliance with MPA Medical Records Completion Policy and report to CMO. Other duties and special projects as assigned from time to time.

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

    • Ability to draft documents with minimal supervision.
    • Exceptional writing and proofreading skills.
    • Ability to organize a large volume of materials.
    • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear, concise, and precise manner.
    • Ability to handle multiple projects at one time with continuing changing priorities.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work as a team player and to effectively deal with MPA personnel to ensure cooperation in finalizing tasks.
    • Ability to communicate with internal and external parties in a courteous, timely and professional manner.
    • Excellent word processing and computer skills, including internet research, document scanning and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products, Adobe Acrobat.

    LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATIONS/EDUCATION:

    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school
    • Paralegal Degree or Legal Certification

    WORK SCHEDULE:

    • 80 hours biweekly. Full Time. Day shift.
