PHYSICIAN OFFICE LPN

JOB DESCRIPTION

Functions include but are not limited to:

1. Collection of health status of patient and documents in the patient record
2. Participates in the development of the plan of care for the patient
3. Verifies that the patient understands the care plan
4. Follows HIPPA laws
5. Provides preventive care that is age appropriate
6. Assist physician with procedures and patient exams
7. Calls the patient with test results after reviewed by the physician
8. Complete phone triage with patients
9. Schedule tests and referral appointments for patients per physician instructions
10. Administer medications to patients as directed by the physician
11. Administer immunizations to patients as directed by the physician
12. Provide routine patient education
13. Maintain medical supply inventory.
14. Understands equipment use and treatment room procedures

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATIONS/EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma
• Must possess a valid SC license – LPN
• Prefer one-year experience in a physician’s office or other clinical setting

WORK SCHEDULE:

• Full-time, 80 hrs bi-weekly
