Performs routine manual tasks necessary to safely collect, transport, and process infectious medical waste and confidential documents. Operates safely commercial trucks and efficiently completes all assigned duties in a safe manner and in compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation and environmental regulations and McLeod Health policies. Operates an industrial autoclave and industrial shredder.
QUALIFICATIONS /TRAINING:
Possesses valid South Carolina driver’s license.
Requires the ability to read, comprehend and follow oral and written instructions.
Requires the ability to perform basic math
Hepatitis B, Tetanus, and other vaccinations will be required for this position.

Requires the ability to safely and effectively operate hand trucks.
Requires the ability to drive commercial trucks for distances up to 200 miles one way.
