MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST (MT)/MEDICAL SCIENTIST (MLS)  (GENERALIST )

SIGN ON AVAILABLE  

Under general supervision perform a full range of laboratory tests, from simple to complex at the request of a physician.  Confirm accuracy of test results and report findings to pathologist and other physicians.  Evaluate new tests and new equipment and perform quality control.

REQUIREMENTS:  Baccalaureate degree in Medical Technology or in appropriate biological, chemical or physical science plus minimum of twelve months training in accredited school of medical technology or equivalent work experience required.  Certification by recognized national certifying agency strongly preferred. ASCP certification preferred.

Required Skills Required Experience

• 3-5 years Audio Visual/Technical sales and/or Event Production and/or Meetings and Conventions Industry sales experience is required
• University Degree or Technical College Diploma preferred
• Demonstrated experience in networking targeted customers at industry events
• Experience navigating customer relationship database
• Excellent computer skills including all MS Office applications
• Experience building effective presentations using PowerPoint and other forms of media
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated phone sales skills
• Excellent organization skills and ability to manage multiple project
