Required Skills
The HeartReach Paramedic is a South Carolina certified paramedic responsible for the care of the patients transferred. Responsible for the operation of the IABP, Lifepack, monitors, pacemakers, and all other equipment approved by DHEC for paramedic usage. Administration of approved drugs and responsible for all protocols as described by the Medical Control Physician.
WORK SCHEDULE: Full time 80 hours biweekly as scheduled as needed based on department demands
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATIONS/EDUCATION:
Must have a current South Carolina Paramedic Certification
Must have a National Registered Paramedic certification.
Must have and maintain a South Carolina Driver’s license
Experience with a Critical Care transport system is preferred
ACLS, PALS(or equivalent), BLS, ITLS/PHTLS(or equivalent) certifications are required.
FP-C, CCP-C, or CCEMT-P are required within eighteen (18) months of employment.
QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING:
Must be able use electronic documentation to enter patient’s transport information.
A minimum of years with a busy 911 system.
