PHYSICIAN OFFICE/CLINICAL RN

JOB DESCRIPTION The Physician Office/Clinical RN assists the physician in assessing the needs of patients based on data collected through history, observation, physical exam, telephone triage and analysis of diagnostic data; reviews all charts prior to patients' office visit; performs direct patient care, i.e. triage, assessment, procedures, treatments, patient education, discharge and follow-up instructions; prepares patient to be seen by physician in physician office; schedules surgeries; assists with hospital rounds; assists with dictating Discharge Summaries, H & P, Consults and OP Reports; performs other duties necessary in providing high quality patient care; serves as an integral part of the overall clinical team for physician office; possesses skills and abilities required in a multifaceted environment in addition to those relating to nursing.

WORK SCHEDULE 80 hours biweekly  as scheduled

Required Skills

QUALIFICATIONS /TRAINING:

one year experience in a physician’s office or other clinical setting.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATIONS/EDUCATION:

SC nursing license required

Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program

BLS Required
